Swead Entertainment started in mid-1999 while Chris Sweeters and Robert Hollingshead were trying to get work done on Sailor Moon W. Of course, that series still isn't finished (don't ask!), and it is way past due. Swead Entertainment's original purpose was to exists as a "production company" for the collaborative efforts between Robert and Chris.
In late 2001 they decided to make a web site for Swead Entertainment, in an attempt to make SE a little more official. Robert placed the page on his own ISP's server, which only had 20 megabytes of server space with a depressing amount of bandwidth available each month. Shortly after, they both started getting the idea that Swead Entertainment should be a "production company" for aspiring fanfiction writers. This idea soon evolved into a fanfiction archive designed by fanfiction writers, for fanfiction writers.
In September 2002 John Kazos Jr. came on board as Technical-Resource Manager, and soon had a capable server for them with good bandwidth and the sweadentertainment.org domain name to go with it.
Chris "Lord Malachite" Sweeters - President &
Co-Founder
Chris is one of the two original SE co-founders. He is a devoted follower of Asuka Sohryu and Minako Aino, who has been writing fanfiction for many years now. He pays his bills by working at various different companies, including a movie theater, an anime store, and the ever popular Wal-Mart chain. When not eating, working, sleeping, or writing, you'll probably find him reading a book, playing a video game, watching anime, or terrorizing the Evangelion Fan Forum. Currently, he is working on several fanfics, including one for "The Big-O," one for "Neon Genesis Evangelion," and the production house's flagship, "Sailor Moon W," co-authored by The RoboNerd.
Robert "The RoboNerd" Hollingshead -
Vice-President & Co-Founder
Robert is the second original co-founder of SE. He is a hopeless Sailor Mercury worshipper. Currently Robert spends his free time working on web pages, programming, and writing fanfiction. If you want to find out more about Robert, just visit his homepage.
